    JCD conducts the Filarmonica “George Enescu” at the Romanian Athenaeum Hall

    The Orchestra and Choir of the Philharmonic “George Enescu” will perform on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at 19.00, on the stage of the Romanian Athens under the leadership of conductor Josep Caballé Domenech, and the soloist will be the pianist Alexei Volodin.

    The concert that will end the 2022 – 2023 season of the Philharmonic “George Enescu” has in the program Polotian Dances for Choir and Orchestra by Aleksandr Borodin, Concert no. 2, in fa minor, for piano and orchestra by Frédéric Chopin, Fantastic Dances by Joaquín Turina and Suites no. The 1 and the No 2 of the ballet Tricorn by Manuel de Falla.

    On June 23, Caballé Domenech will conduct the same program at the second edition of the Athenaeum Summer Festival. “The humanity of music and the beauty of art”, as conductor Josep Caballé-Domenech says, will be the experiences offered by the opening concert.
