The Moritzburg Festival Orchestra in Berlin

At the “Young Euro Classic” festival in the Konzerthaus, the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra, founded by cellist Jan Vogler, impresses with its splendor of sound and joy of playing.

Things are different on Sundays, where the motto is: small but nice. The Moritzburg Festival Orchestra traveled from Saxony, where 36 young musicians from 17 nations played intensively together for two weeks in a magnificent baroque castle just outside Dresden. First, chamber music was played together, and at the end the Catalan conductor Josep Caballé Domenech worked on a symphonic repertoire with the entire troupe.
